Without realizing it, so many of us approach marketing with an unconscious drive to defend ourselves that overpowers our desire to hit big business goals.

For example: she spent years thinking she was just getting the method of marketing wrong, dropped thousands on courses and coaching trying methodology after methodology, template after template, but never realized the main problem:

When she imagined herself stepping out onto the world stage of the Internet, the people she pictured sitting front row center stage were her estranged, critical family of origin. People whose values so clashed with her own, she was used to masking herself for protection whenever she was in their company.

So, of course, she was showing up to her marketing masked! And this is the case for so many talented entrepreneurs without even realizing it.

But what if we had an inner security system that escorted our critics right out of the building?

And then we filled not just the front rows, but the whole stadium, standing room only, with aligned customers? Folks who don’t need our mask at all. Folks who feel so seen, so valued, so much less alone, when we let them see us without it.

The tragedy is that when our critics are unconsciously our primary audience, our aligned customers rarely realize we’re talking to them! (Well, because we’re not.) So, of course, our sales and our confidence and our belief in our business tend to suffer!

It’s possible, and it’s right there for the taking.

When we know who our aligned clients are, build the belief that there are enough of them out there, know they will reward our authenticity with connection and mutually beneficial exchange, THIS is when our marketing takes off.

This is when we get DMs from strangers thanking us for what we vulnerably shared in our marketing, asking how they can work with us. This is checking your phone when you get back from walking your dog to find that 6 payment notifications just came through in the last 30 minutes. This is when your memberships swell, your 1:1s are booked out and you have to start collecting a waitlist. 

This is when marketing gets to be easy.

But the inner work to get to the place within yourself where marketing gets to be easy?

This is often much more challenging.

You’ll have to peer into the corners of uncomfortable emotions. Look to your body for signs of the blocks you’re not even aware of. You’ll have to seize accountability for how you’ve been unconsciously holding yourself back and make courageous shifts. You’ll have to grow the capacity to handle the clients, the money, the recognition you want.

This work is SO rewarding. Literally and figuratively. Monetarily and quality-of-life wise.

But, like most things worth having, you gotta fight for it. In this case, often, with yourself.

    🌄 Then we’ll do a somatic practice to bring a sense of safety, focus, and purpose to our work together

    🌄 Next, we’ll explore 3 shadow work questions together to illuminate where you may be unconsciously blocking your success

    🌄 With consent, I’ll offer perspective shifts and visualizations to help melt the block so you can show up in your marketing in your full power, your full authenticity, your full magnetic attractiveness for the results you want to manifest

    🌄 At the end of the session, you’ll receive prompts for both your personal care practices AND the marketing you’ll create in the week ahead to integrate the insights we’ve uncovered

    🌄 We’ll close it out with another gentle somatic micropractice so you can return to your day with confidence and ease

    🌄 In between sessions, we can carry on the conversation via text so at no point will you have to face your shadows alone
