Untangling Your Sense of Safety from KPIs
There was a time in my business when I thought I would never get to feel safe until I had a certain amount of MONEY, CUSTOMERS, & FOLLOWERS.
So I kept showing up to my marketing NEEDING something from everyone who saw it: validation & cold hard cash. Which made it feel like less of an offer, and more like pressure to those on the receiving end.
But, then I flipped my definition of safety to this: I CAN TRUST MYSELF TO HANDLE WHATEVER COMES MY WAY WITH GRACE.
Which means:
π» I'm safe if 2 people like my post
π» Iβm safe if 2 million people like my post
π» I'm safe if I F up in public & get called out
π» I'm safe if my launch flops
π» I'm safe if someone thinks I shouldn't dance like that on my business socials and makes a fuss
π» I'm safe if I'm not used to serving 20 clients at once or 200 clients at once and there are some growing pains and they have to bear with me
π» I'm safe if I'm broke AF
π» I'm safe if I'm rich AF
And, with this new, internal definition of safety- the energy of my marketing changed.
People show up out of the blue asking to work with me.
Offers have sold less than a minute after I posted them.
My content is magnetic and my marketing feels like Iβm showing up with something to OFFER- not just ask.
